EDITA was founded by Edita Habibic — a refugee of the war in Bosnia who built a career across nursing, social work, and legal/medical interpretation in Europe and the United States. Our woman-owned certification reflects lived experience, not just a designation: we exist to serve the vulnerable populations our founder once was — women, children, and the elderly with limited English skills.Today a network of 1000+ interpreters and drivers carries that mission nationwide, serving workers' compensation case managers, insurance carriers, provider facilities, and the communities around them.
